As part of the T-Lab activities, we hosted a FOODMISSION workshop in Slovenia, led by partners at CCIS-Chamber of Agricultural and Food Enterprises.
The session addressed a key challenge in today’s food systems: improving the understanding and interpretation of food-related data. Participants examined environmental impact indicators, nutritional values, and information related to production and supply chains. Rather than focusing solely on data review, the discussion encouraged critical reflection: Where does this data come from? How reliable is it? And how can it be meaningfully interpreted instead of taken at face value?
The workshop provided a space for exchange and reflection, underlining the importance of data literacy as a foundation for more informed decision-making across the food system.
We now look forward to insights emerging from other project partners across Europe.
