On 25 September 2026, FOODMISSION participated in the European Researchers’ Night in Verona, organised by the University of Verona. The annual event brings scientific research closer to the public through meetings with researchers, experiments, demonstrations and interactive activities for people of different ages. This year’s programme covered a wide range of topics, including health, digital innovation, the environment and food sustainability.

During the event, the FOODMISSION team invited visitors to discover the project through interactive activities and games. The activities provided an accessible and engaging way to introduce the project and encourage conversations around food choices and more sustainable food practices.
Public events such as the European Researchers’ Night provide an important opportunity for FOODMISSION to connect research with citizens, support food literacy and explore participatory approaches to learning and engagement. We would like to thank everyone who visited the FOODMISSION stand and took part in the event.
